South Africa (Singapore Embassy) Project

Because of the information confidentiality of this project we are not allowed to discuss the details. However we would like to share the photo album in South Africa.

Brussels (Singapore Embassy) Project

Because of the secrecy of this project I am not allowed to elaborate. However we would like to share our stay in Brussels.

Brussels is a vibrant and fascinating place, with architecture and museums to rank among the best of Europe's capitals, not to mention a superb restaurant scene and an energetic nightlife. I was in Brussels for 3 days rushing to complete the project in time. Everything went through successfully.

French is the common language. English is only useful in the hotels and some restaurants. So I discovered that the universal language is my finger, by pointing my finger around I could order food and ask for directions.

Oil Tanker Projects

CNS have completed various projects on board Oil Tankers. These are the jobs that we have done:

• Network termination of Cat5 and Cat6 cables
• File and Printer sharing

• Install and configure Software
• Install and configure Hardware

Bintan - Club Med

New project for the photo gallery at Bintan - Club Med. The photo gallery is going through restructure whereby the current system will be faced out and our new proposal will be implemented.

The current system require all the photos to be printed out and display in the gallery. Customer will choose the photo they want and fill up a order form. The photo lab will process the order.

We are implementing a POS (point of sales) system where customer can order the photos electronically. The photos will be displayed on a few LCD screens thus eliminating the process of printing out all the photos and displaying them on shelves for customer to view.

After the implementation the system will be efficient for customers to select the pictures they want and order it through the POS at the photo gallery. Wastage of printed photos will be the thing of the past.

Logistic management program

The program is able to keep track on the following:

• The ship arrival and departure time
• What are the items that are requested by the ship
• All the deliveries that is due will be in red colour and put at first priority
• The name of the person in charge of a certain delivery
• There are certain controls that do not allow alterations by unauthorized person
• When the delivery is completed it will be saved to the server database

The Logistic Management Program have been tested by our customers and proven to have help them to be more efficient and safe cost.

Batam (The Look Pub)

The Look is a newly open pub & restaurant that has 2 levels. The first floor is where the pub is and the 2nd floor serves Western and Asian food. It is located in Batam and is 10min drive from Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal. We have setup our POS touch screen ordering system. It is able to do the following:

• End user can design their own table layout
• User Name and Password for different users to access
• Ordering, stock balance, book keeping etc
• Emailing the daily report to the boss
• Many types of report can be generated as all the data is captured in the database

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates' 37th National Day Dinner (2nd December 2008)

Our client, The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. We were invited for their 37th National Day Dinner. It was a great cultural experience, especially their delicious national dishes.

57th Korean Armed Forces Day

We provide ad-hoc IT services for the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. We were invited to the 57th Korean Armed Forces Day.

Dubai project (linking network to Singapore)

We have completed a project to setup the following:

• Configure data security
• Configure VPN for data to be transferred to Singapore office
• Configure data backup
• Configured a centralized database
• Internet soloution

It was a new experience working in Dubai. Overall I enjoyed my stay there very much and hope for more opportunities to work there. Here are some pictures in Dubai.
